Demand for 1BHK Apartment’s has more than doubled in Jan 2015. The report noted a 5 per cent demand for smaller units in Apr-Jun 2014 which rose to 10 per cent in the Oct-Dec 2014 quarter and 20 per cent in Jan 2015, the pace at which the demand is rising clearly indicates the change in the preference of prospective Apartment buyers in Bengaluru.

“The Bengaluru is changing to Mumbai like Demand. Before the buyers were the locals, but now it is the migrant population, majorly working couples, who are making their investment here. Hence, they prefer smaller Flats as maintenance costs and the effort are also less,”.
